May 13, 2026 - Dec Group is pleased to announce that Alconbury Weston Ltd (AWL) has officially been renamed Dec Continuous Process Ltd, marking the final step in the company’s full integration into the Group following its acquisition in 2022.
The incorporation of AWL’s capabilities into the Dec Group strengthened a shared commitment to advancing continuous manufacturing and advanced processing solutions. By combining AWL’s proven process technologies with Dec’s global leadership in contained powder handling, process integration and packaging, the Group now offers customers a uniquely comprehensive portfolio, spanning raw material handling, synthesis, secondary manufacturing, and final packaging.
Based in Stoke‑on‑Trent, AWL has established a strong reputation for its specialized expertise in continuous reaction, crystallization, filtration and drying systems. Its technologies are applied across multiple sectors, including pharmaceutical, fine chemicals, biotechnology, laboratory research and the nutritional industry.
The new company name reflects its strengthened role within the Dec Group as a center of excellence for continuous processing technologies. Operating under the unified Dec brand, Dec Continuous Process Ltd will continue to deliver AWL’s established solutions while contributing to the Group’s global strategy and long‑term vision.
